The light and spacious accommodation consists of:
An open plan lounge and dining area offering stunning views across Loch Eishort where you can watch the weather and tides change by the minute. Or, for those corrie in days there is a Smart TV, Blu-Ray Player and an Amazon Alexa Smart Speaker. We provide complimentary wi-fi and access to Netflix and Amazon Prime video to keep you connected.
The cottage has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and ensuite bathroom and the second has a king-size bed and a single. A separate shower-room is off the main hallway, so the house is ideal for two couples. For the younger ones a travel cot, high-chair and baby bath are all available on request.
The well-equipped kitchen has a double electric oven, gas hob and extractor, fridge/ freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. A shared rotary drier is available in the back yard.
We provide all bed linen (except for the travel cot), towels and kitchen essentials so all you need to bring is your food and personal items. Hairdryers and bathroom essentials are also provided.
There is an enclosed garden at the front of the house with a seating area where you can enjoy the views, watch the passing resident sheep and lambs, or even listen to the stags roaring during the rutting season in October. There is ample parking for two cars in the adjacent car parking area. For those less mobile guests, there is an access ramp if needed.
Following a village fund-raising initiative during the summer of 2021 we are delighted to host a community defibrillator in the parking area.
From 2023 all short term lets holiday accommodation in Scotland will be required to have an operating licence from the local authority. We will be submitting our licence application in Spring 2023. There are a number of documents that will need to be provided on our website including the licence certificate. These will be shown when we have them.
